Flat Black shop was created in 2015 by Pete Salcido as an urban art supply store for urban artist to get their supplies. Soon after, it organically grew into a gallery space with a mission to showcase art work from emerging street artist within the Coachella valley and beyond.
Through the years Flat Black has created relationships with organizations such as Westfield Palm Desert, Palm Springs Public Arts, The River Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs art museum and several local businesses. We’ve been not only able to grow the brand but create even more opportunities for artist through a bigger platform.

Our Flat Black team of artists specialize in street art style murals and have completed many across Coachella Valley and beyond. Our artists also work in a variety of other mediums - graphic design, logos, fine art and aerosol.

The Flat Black Gallery is a gallery and event space used for emerging and seasoned artist. In the last several years, our gallery has hosted over 30 art shows and counting.
Artist from all walks of life and different mediums have graced our walls.
Our goal is to help local artists by creating a platform for them to showcase their work and reach a new audience. All displayable forms of visual art are welcomed for our exhibits.
